Four Pwerle sisters exhibited at Desert Rain, Noosa
Posted on September 21st, 2009 in Art Shows
The Desert Rain Gallery in Noosa continues its exhibition of the works of four of the Pwerle sisters until the end of the month.

Joining works by the late Minnie Pwerle are those by her sisters Emily, Gayla and Molly. This unique exhibition highlights the extraordinary artistic talent of all four sisters from Utopia, a region in the Central Desert. The vibrancy, intricacy and scope of these works have propelled the sisters to the apogee of contemporary painting in this country.
The exhibition was opened by Director of the Art Workers Alliance Kevin Wilson, pictured below with curator and gallery owner Lorraine Heslop.
